General PRoduct warnings and cautions
While it is part of our belief to do no harm, it is the responsibility of the user of the products to use the products properly. Always be aware of personal allergies and irritations. Spot test all skin products prior to full use. If any products cause irritation, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician.
Potential allergens
We use a variety of ingredients in our products. At some point, one ingredient may have been in contact with another ingredient. This would be similar to a warning that says "This product has been processed in a facility that also processes ______". Please contact us if you have more questions.

Soaps
​
All of our soaps are handcrafted in small batches and hand cut. Designs and weights will vary from bar to bar and batch to batch. That is the nature of a handmade product. Most of our soaps will range from 4 ounces to 6 ounces For fairness, the lowest bar weight per batch is what is listed on those bars. Any soap weighing more is a bonus for the price paid. In addition, as the bars continue to harden over time additional water weight will be lost. This natural process, however, makes for a finer, longer lasting soap bar.

All soaps contain sodium hydroxide (lye) as true soap cannot be made without it. However, this caustic substance is neutralized when combined with the fats and oils in our recipe as the soap batter undergoes its transformation, known as saponification.
Scented soaps are made with fragrance oils or essential oils. Please use caution whenever using a body product containing essential oils and be aware of what essential oils may affect your body and medical issues. We use essential oils for scent only. We follow the IFRA guidelines for the safe usage of fragrance and essential oils in our recipes.

Unscented soaps have no added fragrances. Please be aware, however, that they sometimes do have scents that come from the ingredients used. In addition, it is possible for unscented soaps to potentially absorb fragrances from other soaps on the curing racks.
We color our soaps using micas, oxides, pigments, natural herbal colorants, and titanium dioxide which is a naturally occurring whitening agent. Some colorants will ‘bleed’ some of their color. This is normal.
Toppings for our soaps are only biodegradeable plastic-free glitters or natural ingredients and/or botanicals. All toppings typically wash off with the first few uses.
Additives in our soaps vary from batch to batch. We most often use water, but sometimes we choose to add all or part of the water in our products with various milks or juices. We occasionally use other additives like honey, herbs, pumice, oatmeal, coffee and the like.

While we try to be as transparent and clear as possible by listing key words in description boxes such as Coconut Oil Free or Vegan Friendly, please read ingredients for each product listed to know exactly what is in the product you are purchasing.
Body Products
We use high quality and often organic oils and butters in all of our products and strive to be phthalate-free, paraben-free, and sulfate-free.
If the product is designed to come in contact with water or has water in it, please note that we will use a broad spectrum preservative to help prolong the life of the product. However, products do degrade over time and if in doubt, please discontinue use.

For items meant to be leave on or leave in, we strive to make sure the pH is skin appropriate. Despite this, please be aware, everyone's skin tolerances are different and spot testing on products is advised.

We use skin safe colorants in our soaps and mainly micas for the majority of our hues. In products like bath bombs, whipped scrubs, hand washes and lip products, we may also use dyes and or lakes. We adhere to the safety use guidelines set by the FDA regarding color.

Our body products like our soaps come in scented and unscented varieties. We follow the guidelines set by the International Fragrance Association with regard to scented products. Unscented products have no scent added. These products may still have a scent based off the ingredients used in the formulation.

Additives in our products vary from type to type and recipe to recipe but all are designed to enhance the products' end experience and pampering effects.
